What can i say about the art of Dan Colen ?

radically bad ?

Well my first answer would be nothing
as nothing comes out when i see his work
but boredom and scams
cos seriously
this guy represents what i would call
''art posing''
which means
rich kids
who take too much drugs
who dont know what to do with their lives
arent inspiried by something specific but dope
but pretend they're artists...
cos their shits are hanged in galleries

why dan colen ?

cos i just went mad when i've read about
his gross stupid chewing-gum painting he made
saying that first he didnt chew himself
but asked ppl or even worse did it with hot water
....
HOW LAME IS THAT ?
cos the only interest i could have find in this
so called painting would be the performance related to it
(chewing till you can't feel your jaw anymore or so)
but now...that's just a melting pot of gums....
and its even not extreme like on hugggggge caneva
no, just on a quite regular
and this shit is sold in trendy galleries
and is published by mags....

wtf, seriously
im so sick of those art posers
who are good at partying
and calling their dealers
and who are able to sell their shits.

am i missing something or so ?
i dont have the impression

gallerists, just give a chance to gifted artists who
really need money to live and who deserve it

the worst part is when this guy says in Vice
''well, im too busy at the moment,
i have to refuse propositions from galleries''.....

well, all i have to do is finding a rich heir
ask him to shit
spread that shit on a canva and
hang it in gallery
then comes the concept :

showing something unseen
and primitive
related to the boundaries of the social background
bla bla bla bla

stop thinking you're an artist.
