yesterday was a reallly good one
i have been to Nancy (F)
to see a really old friend of mine

Nancy is not really a hot spot for something
except boredom and raucous people
(yuk)
btw, by the afternoon
after sushis + miso soup
we went to an exhibition
with Brassai pictures
cos i've been told for i dunno how many years
that that guys was a geniussssss
and that his work his worth checking.
but....it is not...to me

i was super disapointed
i just saw pictures i was doing when i was
i dunno, 17, when you're wandering in streets, house
as i said to Celine, like when you experience your first camera
you get so excited and you take all this ''beautiful'' things that appear to you
like a candle, a fish, a really bright sky...
so Brassai did...then i've checked his nude series
which were ''ok''
.nothing special with an important artistic comitment and quite...boring
but still, nice shapes and lights.
and when i left the exhib' i was so sad
thinking how an artist can be so overrated
. and i've checked some extras more pics on google
(cos i thought its impossible that such an average work can be that famous)
(there was like 200 pictures of him...)
and i just saw better pictures
but still, is less stronger than Bresson
and who am i to judge Brassai ?

as i have 0.1 per cent chance to be as famous as him
nobody, just stop telling in art books + art history lessons + foto history books
that that guy was a master or so, i dont see what he brought to this media...
or i miss something.
